Comments Thread For: Khan Tested, Decisions Game Algieri, Floyd Next?

Barclays Center, Brooklyn - Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Chris Algieri (20-2, 8KOs) in a welterweight contest. The scores were 115-113, 117-111, 117-111.

The speed of Khan was very evident in the first round as he was getting off with both hands before Algieri could get out of the way. Algieri did manage to land a realy hard counter that shook up Khan's legs for a split second. And Khan fired right back with combinations. Algieri became more aggressive in the second, still eating more than his share of punches.

Made the right adjustments, thanks to Virgil Hunter. Not on the same level as Floyd. Scored it 7-5 for Khan.

Hats off to Algeria and his trainer, good game plan, and we saw a different more compete Algeria, or a limited Khan.

Amir Khan looked terrible. Algieri stole the show and actually made the fight. Gift decision. Does not deserve floyd
