Lara doesn't have a stiff consistent jab, he throws punches with his chin up in the air, and he's wide open to bodyshots. He doesn't like pressure fighters, so what do you think is likely to happen against the best pressure fighter in the game?

Conelo fight could go ether way depending on you ask

      Paul William cmon now

Why cant haymom make a fight with GGG guys..or is hbo thing as well ...

How do see that fight playing out ?
      a couple points:

      -Carlos Molina says hell

-HBO doesn't work with Haymon because he haggles for every penny possible, fully understanding the scope of the money being brought in (Gennady Golovkin has fought 7 fights on HBO, yet has only earned his first $1m payday; if Haymon had been looking after Golovkin, there's no way in hell that Golovkin fights for $700k after delivering a consistently strong headline rating for HBO).

Lara is in a different position (his style is so negative that he makes for terrible TV, ie Lara vs Ishe Smith, Lara vs Canelo, but he's still a world-level talent). If K2 actually wanted the fight, Lara would take the fight for even a payday that HBO is willing to offer.

Plus his output and combination punching is weak. What people see as a weakness to exploit in Golovkin, Lara is not going to do sht about it, he's just gonna run and potshot, and until he makes some sort of stand, he's gonna get his ass pinned to the ropes real quick and get mollywhopped.

Add the Haymon politics to the mix and it's a non-starter.
Oh you mean promoting brain damage and boxers with zero defense and head movement? smh you cats cry when your fighters like dude in your avi get humiliated maybe if they had more defense and ring intelligense they would make it far.

That is what is so great about boxing though.. Styles make fights. Not everyone that steps in the ring is gifted with hand speed, or good to great defense. Fighters have to work with what they have.

Some have the tools you respect, some don't. Some fighters have to take 3 shots to deliver one.

I understand you like boxers, with certain gifts, but you see all the hate Lara gets?

That is how it seems you feel about brawlers. No fighter is equal, but should all be respected.

Well Lara is a risky fight, HBO would not want that. As much as they critise certain fighters they (HBO) are the same when it comes to cherry picking.

Lara lost the Canelo fight more than Canelo won it. If you cannot understand that then don't bother replying.

                Lara would beat Floyd comfortably.

                Real talk.
