As much as I criticize Lara for his style, you're right he doesn't have a clear loss on his record. But he also doesn't have clear wins. He looked horrible against Molina, looked bad against Vanes, Angulo made him look bad. By the end of the 9th round Canelo had him shook, bleeding and retreating. It was a close fight only because he chose to RUN (not move or use ring generalship) but run the whole fight.
lara still doesnt have a CLEAR loss on his record

I dont care what noone says boring or not lara still doesnt have a clear lost ..and i like him against GGG (im a huge ggg fan btw)
Conelo fight could go ether way depending on you ask
Paul William cmon now
Why cant haymom make a fight with GGG guys..or is hbo thing as well ...
How do see that fight playing out ?
I agree. People don't like his style, but he is good at what he does. I view him as a boxer puncher. Sure he moves a lot, but he will crack you for chasing. Dude has vey underrated skills.. On this site anyway.Comment

I think Lara gots the boxing ability, movement & some decent power of his own that will give GGG his toughest fight. GGG's power is such a good equalizer its hard to pick anyone at 160 I'd pick to beat him, but I feel like Lara would be his best opponent if obviously not his best 160lb resumed opponent.
And I agree on my scorecards Lara is undefeated to so this fight would be giving someone their first L official or unofficial in my eyes. Can't imagine this one would come with much disputability as all I can see happening is a clear decision or KO for either guy. Hope this happens, I'd love to see it. Maybe one of the most interesting fights to make at 160 right now to me.Comment

His manager DeCubas is the one who is on lara's twitter account which has already been confirmed. DeCubas bigs up lara, talks **** about every fighter on twitter, then nothing happens. If you think PBC fighters/Haymon are going to go to HBO, I got news for you - it's not going to happen! It's just talk from DeCubas. He's fighting Delvin Rodriguez next month and after that likely Charlo. Not sure why Lara won't fight Boo Boo Andrade though, who's called him out. Lara (not DeCubas) has also stated in an actual interview (not twitter) that he plans on staying at 154 and has no intention of going to 160. But GGG ducking though...Comment

All of his sub par performances where he failed to close the show should at least add up to a couple of losses/draws.
Molina - Scored it a draw. No argument there
Williams - Yes he was robbed
Vanes - Fight was so ugly I have no issue with the decision
Canelo - I scored it 115-113 for Lara but the fight could have just as easily been 115-113 the other way.
He's only been truly robbed once. All of the other fights he arguably could have won but didn't do enough to make it convincing.Comment

The fact that it was a draw says it all. Unless I'm ******, I'm pretty sure they weren't trying to build up Carlos Molina. Short notice and on a long layoff too. There's a reason Lara fans don't like to talk about that fight lolComment
