This was also repeated by Sulaiman.

By the way... if Eater of Ass is wondering why I do not reply to him, it is because he is on my ignore list and I no longer have to read the crap he posts.

According to what was stated after the Monroe fight, they intend to force the WBC to strip the title before the Canelo fight unless there is a signed agreement that Golovkin fights the winner.

For those who missed the presser, here it is. The pertinent part starts at about the 13 minute mark.

here you go Buddy i knew you would show up, lol.

World Boxing Council President, Mauricio Sulaiman stated that Gennady Golovkin will step aside if WBC Champion Miguel Cotto and Mexican former Champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez agree to fight in the summer, and then he'll then take on the winner.

Big Javi is Puerto Rican I believe, but I have been saying this for years Puerto Ricans are not latin nor hispanic, they are Caribbean and I dont hear enough saying this. But on another note, The Indians didnt **** them selves so Technically you can refer to a Puerto Rican as spanish and be "technically" correct as the term can also be applied to some one that shares that descent. But in that same vein more Puerto Ricans are of euro/african/asian/Taino descent.

Cotto won't fight him, under any circumstances, and I'm sure GGG knows that.
Keep telling yourself that. GGG wants the name and the money, the belt is a consolation prize. Why would GGG drop all the way down to 154 to fight Mayweather if his sole intention was to win the WBC belts and unify. As a matter of fact let me pose a question, If GGG was offered a fight against Mayweather at 154, and simultaneously offered a fight with Cotto for the WBC belt, who would GGG choose? Careful, your answer may expose your bias.

I'm straight from the island so IDK what you are talking about. And I was also referring to spanish/hispanics in general in the usa. All that stuff about how PR's "hate" comparisons is pure bullshit. If anything it's more of getting "offended" like for example, "nah not mexican Im puerto rican 100%!" stuff like that. So stop exaggerating.

First of all, your link is bad. Second of all, Sulaiman stated that GGG will step aside IF both Cotto and Canelo are willing to sign a guarantee that the winner will fight Golovkin in their next fight. Neither are willing to sign such a guarantee. This is EXACTLY what Loeffler states in the press conference. Maybe you should take the time to watch it.

He would fight Mayweather, and then Cotto the next day.

You're right in a way but it's different markets. If that was the case, Canelo vs Kirkland wouldn't of been packed. If people spent to see Canelo live, you better believe they will for Canelo vs Cotto. Especially since THE FIGHT didn't live up to expectations thanks to Floyd.

Being offended.. Hmm why would you be offended if the comparison is OK? They HATE it. Period. I hate it.. Most PRs in TX who get called MX 3x a day I'm sure also hate it.

I'm usually like "bi tch I'm too handsome to be MX!"

Hispanics in the US... I've lived in PR, NY, FL and now TX... I know em pretty well.
