I agree Alex, that was a very good post by pnksntdead.....
He presented a well-balanced and accurate summary..... from reading his post, you have no idea whether he is a khan fan or not, most likely just a genuine boxing fan.
Good stuff, props to you both !
Khan will outclass Algieri, who is vastly over-rated, and will likely stop him.Comment

Brook's management was demanding a June fight, which Khan rejected because Ramadan begins then. They should have known very well that Khan doesn't do fights near Ramadan anymore (ever since that devastating Prescott KO).
Haters need to stop blaming it all on Khan and giving Brook a free pass. Both Khan and Brook wanted the fight, but their management's mishandling prevented it from happening. Their management teams know they could build it up into an even bigger money clash if they play the waiting game (just look at Pac-May), so don't be surprised if Khan-Brook gets delayed another year or two.Comment

Khan did the Garcia and Judah fights a week before Ramadan which is when Brook's team had Wembley ready. There was no excuse.Brook's management was demanding a June fight, which Khan rejected because Ramadan begins then. He only started making that pathetic excuse when people started slagging him off. Who needs a week to "prepare" for Ramadan? LOL....I asked this ****** bird I was shagging and she laughed at the notion, saying "why the *** would you need a week to prepare?" You're being absolutely mugged off.
The lying prick also said he'd never fight in September because of Ramadan and now since he's so desperate for the Mayweather fight, he's going back on his word there too. He's using his own religion as an excuse which is pretty de****able.
Before he started the Ramadan excuse, there was the "Brook isn't big enough" excuse....then he fights Algieri for a 1/4 of the money on Spike TV
Either he or his team are simply ****ting their pants that he might get KO'd by Brook. I personally thought he had the beating of Brook. It's a shame he doesn't share that confidence.Last edited by Dirk Diggler UK; 05-27-2015, 05:56 AM.Comment

Like who, Algieri ?
Pacquiao will not fight Khan, and Brook is a top 3/4 welter.....
... so, Brook is - at worst - Khans 2nd best payday, and 2nd/3rd best opponent.
I like Khan, but he hasnt fried any fish since moving to welter.
If Khan misses out on Mayweather in September, it will be because he has not forced the issue..... if Khan/Brook fought, the winner would almost certainly get Mayweather..... if Khan misses out on Mayweather, it will be because he avoided Brook.
I hope Mayweather picks someone else.
Fcuk " styles "..... Khan aint beating Mayweather anyway..... so why should he get an undeserved payday?Comment

Khan's opposition has been nothing special for 3 years, so it isn't surprising that he would get matched up against Algeri. As long as there's a chance of a Mayweather match-up, he'll continue to face guys who don't present too much of a threat. The only fighter who had to settle for lesser opposition was Thurman. We could easily be getting Khan/Thurman right now.Comment

But Brook is much better than Thurman.Comment
