To bad that Kelle Brooke guy is worth zero tickets outside UK. Easy work for Khan but its cool Khan continues to test himself against guys like Algierie who tooks Pac Mans best shots and kept coming. Now that Pac is officially the top fighter in the world Algierie doesnt seem so soft.

They gotta protect that chin so that he can stay in the Mayweather sweepstakes. I think that Khan is a warrior and is willing to take on anyone. He's capable of beating elite guys but is also liable to get KO'd by hard hitting B level fighters whuch makes him a must watch. His handlers know that he can't afford another KO loss. He should beat Algieri impressively.

You are clearly far too intelligent and impartial to be posting here on NSB.

Well said sir, I commend you.

What a coward, his "safe" options were limited. If he really wanted floyd he should have fought Broner at the 144, beating him decisively would have gotten him his dream fight...just like Maidana did. Kieth Thurman called him out repeatedly, as did shawn porter and tim bradley. This guy is a joke with glass jaw looking for soft punchers and a payday i.e. Algeri

One of Khan's first selections was Adrien Broner. Khan says Broner refused to back away from his demand for a catch-weight, which is likely true considering Broner is making Shawn Porter fight him at 144-pounds on June 20th.

Bull**** Amir, Kell Brook was ready and willing.

You do not deserve the Mayweather fight, period.

You waited around hoping to get lucky, relying solely on your name/fanbase, instead of fighting top guys, who were waiting around doing the exact same thing.

Some of these young fighters are paid way too much, otherwise they would be desperate for a Mayweather payday.

And I also find it hard to believe that Thurman/Bradley are even slightly interested in landing a Mayweather fight..... I have never heard either guy even mention Mayweather, and they certainly did nothing to put themselves in the running.

                  Fcuk you Amir !

So, you picked Algieri out of desperation, huh ?

Well, we pick Cotto out of desperation.

Likely nobody is interested in watching Mayweather lame his way to a MW title, but if Khan is the alternative, then I am getting desperate for Cotto loL.

And fcuk the other welter-waits (no typo). They did nothing.

Let me explain what happened to you dear.

Brook fought Porter and was a 4-1 underdog - in the states. Wins, gets stabbed, then fights his mandatory.

Then wants Khan - but was turned down. Instead chooses to fight again in 6 weeks time because his mandatory was so easy. Then picks someone who was about to fight a eliminator for his title - as a "stay-busy" fight.

He already has a scheduled fight date in August against Rios/Marquez.
To be fair, Brook just hit the world-stage.

He is the only welter not named Mayweather that I would have a hard time bashing for poor opponent selection..... but time will tell.

Khan will completely outclass Algieri, and probably stop him.

The likes of Provo/Algieri are vastly over-rated opponents for a top welter, just like you would expect from mid-level 140lb'ers.

Knowledgeable posters stated that Provo was over-rated immediately after the Bradley fight..... and so is Bradley to be honest.

Bradleys inability to consistantly fight to his strengths has been obvious on more than one occasion, he could have completely outclassed Provo easily.

The hype surrounding Provo after the Bradley fight was absurd..... now, everyone can see that..... soon, they will see the same thing about Algieri.
