Fact, is Algieri is not nearly as bad of an opponent as people make it out to be. The whole "cage" joke is what makes hard for people to take it seriously. He isn't fighting a shot to **** fossil like Bradley did with Casamayor. It is still a duck and he should respect his fans by making up for it, but we all know Khan will fight Brook in mean time and a decent name in fall if Mayweather doesn't come through. His history speaks for it.
At the end of the day Khan can cross over to UFC and become their champion and that still wouldn't be good enough for reasons you claim I'm bias towards him. The same lot like alexguiness completely over look Peterson's juicing and calls that a legit loss. Every time Khan fights they pick his opponent to KO him only to discredit his win later. With Algieri it is a "I told you so" confirmation bias. So, the reason why I'm not punching holes in my monitor for this is because he won't be respected regardless, however that shouldn't compel him to drop his standards.
