It's very debatable who is #1 pound for pound in the UFC. Consensus would be between Jones and Aldo but on the topic of small men one could make a case for Mighty Mouse Johnson who is an incredibly gifted fighter but unfortunately he doesn't have the competition to test him.

Are MMA and Boxing guys suppose to hate each other because that is not the case. It is a lot of MMA Guys who work on their boxing at Mayweather's Gym with Jeff Mayweather, guys like Luke Rockhold (the guy that will fight Weidman next), TJ Dillashaw, Roy Nelson, King Mo Lawal just to name a few, it is a lot of MMA guys that workout and Mayweather gym ALL THE TIME
