Lomanchenko is the most overhyped fighter on this forum

Well, the thing is Loma is very good at switching up his punches... He'll throw pitty-pat punches and then come through with a power punch, he uses them to set things up which is smart (Loma is a much different fighter than GGG or Kovalev... Loma is a white version of that rare combination of 1 and million athlete talent with a life-time of built up and carefully honed skill (like Ward or Roy jones or Mayweather or Rigo)...

I really, really, really hope Rigo/Loma happens after the Walters fight... Watch Rigo fight... He'll paw that jab out and then fire off a powerful one-two... Rigo is so good that he will REHEARSE the exact combo he's going to do, then he'll actually execute it, and his opponent is still surprised(when the punches land) because his timing and speed is that good...

Now, imagine Loma and Rigo, both with great timing and speed, having to carefully measure each other out... Yeah, it wouldn't be Provo-Mattys... but both guys would want to MAKE SURE that they're winning on points at least... I guess it's possible that they would both be so good as to neutralize a lot of each other's offense/defense, leaving us with a fight in which few punches are landed... Or maybe realizing this, Loma takes a chance on his superior power and takes bigger risks down the stretch... and similarly, Maybe Rigo, realizing for the first time he's not CLEARLY winning on points, takes a risk himself...

So pissed that Arum got rid of/let Rigo go... and kept Donaire... Donaire gets his ass handed to him by Rigo, then gets dropped by Walters...and still he's on the Top Rank/HBO team...

Nah all the "Floyd's replacement" guys are the most hyped. Thurman, Brook etc.

You likely just see what you want to see. Lomachenko isn't heavy handed but he's exciting and aggressive when he sees an opening.

He will probably become a super boring fighter if he moves up in weight the way Floyd did. In fact, it's pretty much guaranteed.

Who are you watching? He might not have power but he's an incredible offensive fighter and throws with bad intentions.

I don't like the way he responded when he got hit with low blows. Kovalev would have
beheaded the guy and I like that in a fighter. These aren't Gentleman Jim boxing days.

If he beats Walters then he should be in top ten P4P.

In his last fight Rodriguez started going low and Lomachenko hit him low back it was good to see him learning. I remember Tszyu initially had the gentleman approach when he first turned pro but learned quickly just watch the MAG fight.

Lulz becuase Lomachenko fights like Lara, Rigo, Floyd. He's a front foot fighter who regularly pressures, aggressively attacks while throwing combinations and has supurb defense while doing it. He is not a counter punching runner who refuses to lead or engage.

Loma's work rate could certainly use improvement. A lot of times he just stops throwing for no real reason. He will stop throwing even when not being pressured or after he lands a nice combo he won't follow through. He's a great talent that I can see taking it to an even higher level if he gets a better killer instinct. He's not overhyped at all. Dude is legit.
