Ward is much more defensively responsible and tactical than Dirrell. He always keep his hands up and know how to attack the body, he uses a body jab and know how to use certain veteran tactics.

Degale is asking for a guaranteed loss.

You mean the washed up Cotto that had what is surely the greatest win, and arguably best performance of his career, after Mayweather and who is now the lineal middleweight champion of the world? That 'washed up' Cotto?

Funny though that you list five world champions, including two HOFers who were current and future lineal champions at the time Mayweather beat them, and then talk about taking the easy route.

Maybe you should brush up on your high school comparative essays. I'd take five world champions, and two HOFers including the lineal welterweight and current lineal middleweight champion, any day of the week over Algieri, Rios, broken Bradley, and getting KTFO by a 60 year old lightweight, who Mayweather had schooled without breaking a sweat after a two year lay off.

Ward is much too consistent for a guy like DeGale. I mean if DeGale fought a complete fight and fought the fight of his life he could give Ward a run for his money but every time I see the guy he has major lapses in effort. Once he switches off against Ward I don't think Ward would ever allow him to turn back on.

DeGale needs a couple more wins against top ten opponents before thinking about Ward.

No, ****, he just hopes that there could be ONE thread in the whole of NSB that doesn't talk about Mayweather like a 10-year-old fanboy. And so say all of us.

Ward eats Chunky up on the inside though. And 400 punches is not gonna cut it. The battle of the jabs in that match will be very interesting though.

James DeGale agreed to fight Andre Ward last year.

I don't think he's saying he's ducking him, just that Ward isn't going to want to fight someone like him right now.

Stylistically, DeGale isn't a good fight for a rusty Ward.
