GGG got stopped is his tracks a couple times by a guy that hits as hard as Paulie Malignaggi. Move up to 168 and your punch wont be as good. Froch is a veteran and would pick GGG apart and stop him after 7 rounds or so. I've never seen so many people acting like a guy is immortal because he beats gatekeepers and below. GGG calls out smaller fights and wants them to come up. He needs to do the same than and go up for bigger fights. Hell Andre Dirrell would be the best fighter GGG has faced. Do some of you not realize that?

Let me know when Froch shuts the **** up and signs a contract.
And no, I am not accusing Froch of ducking Golovkin because I do not believe fighters can duck someone from another division.

Do your research. GGG has faced Andre Dirrell twice, Dirrell won a one point home town decision in the first and lost clearly in the second. GGG also knocked out Bute and defeated Lee and Korobov as amateurs. There is no reason to expect a different outcome as a pro, other than all of them would end on their backs.

This is a super fight, the kind of fight people have been asking GGG to take, let's see it happen and GGG can silence the critics!

Anyways, I dont see the arguments here. The fight "if" it comes off, will be extremely tough for both parties. However I don't see GGG magically doing to Carl what no-body has been able to do his whole career & KO him. I mean Carl went toe 2 toe with Kessler twice, and to be fair Kessler hits hard.
Groves hits hard too and even he could finish him off. I'd personally like to see Carl take a tune-up & GGG to actually fight Groves. I think Groves GGG would be a cracking fight and also a Gage tester on how well he would do.
I mean I'd like to see someone who can actually **** hit him on the chin and see what happens. So far in his career this has not happened, it could of with the Rubio fight but that just descended into a farce.
I like both fighters anyways whats not to love if this actually came through.

And, Froch deserved the Chavez payday way more than Golovkin did.
Froch has a glittering resume', and he will fight Andre Ward.
Golovkin has not, and will not.

GGG just wants Chavez Jr. to honor his Twitter bet where he said he would put up $1 million of his side of the purse that he would KO Golovkin if they ever fight. Could be a hard bet to collect on though, seeing as Chavez will probably never see a million dollar purse again.

The guy is 33 and has yet to beat an elite fighter. You have to use other angles to hype up GGG like his KO over Ishida or Rubio. One guy is from a smaller, mediocre weight class, the other one fought everyone in what was the 2nd hottest weight class from 2009-2014, it finally died down. Froch withstood a 33-2 record in one of the best weight classes in the last 5 years. Golovkin has a resume about as good as Bute's. And he would suffer the same fate against Froch, a L on his record because you just don't step up at such an old age and think you're gonna do to elite fighters what you have been doing to C fighters. GGG making the same exact mistake, fighting weak opposition for too long. He doesn't know what it's like fighting someone who can take his punch and hit back hard. Like I said before, he is not a 25-27 year old finally stepping up in comp, he's 33 with no experience against elite fighters.
The only thing I will add, is that Golovkin spars a lot of top fighters, even if he doesnt fight them. He does get pretty good exposure.
Golovkin is legit, he is just over-hyped, exactly like Pacquiao was.
