Some people take Floyd's "TBE" thing too seriously. Yes the greatest fighters of all time would fight Golovkin and beat him and add it to their legend.

But Floyd is not actually TBE. It's just a nickname. He will fight Garcia or Khan or something, and if you ignore his self-given nickname, there's nothing wrong with those fights.

But the dilemma lies in the fact that Floyd calls himself TBE, yet knows nobody thinks he is.

You cant put limitiatons on what you have to do, to get the legacy you want.
ggg has a piss poor crap record. a win for mayweather won't do anything for him on the legacy end. maybe at middleweight but at 154? no.

Mayweather-Andre' Ward would be a good matchup as well. That could be dangerous too. As far as fantasy, he should enter the ring against Muhammed Ali to see who really is TBE. Just fantasizing too?

Lawdy lawdy, here we go again with these fight night weights. All it is is an out for whoever loses. As long as they make weight, im good. Whether fight night weights hinder any fighter or affects whatever outcome thatson thefighter. They shouldnt rehydrate as much or be in the division, simple. Excuses. If a fighter can make the weight or fight at a particular weight class, its on them you think?

A fighter is only as good as the opposition they beat and by that notion Garcias the best option, khan? GGG has that HBO push but thats it, he lacks the top level opponents that would make him a good win for Floyd, scratch that,he would be agood win but based on who Garcia has all beaten, hes the best option out there. There are levels to boxing, ill keep preaching that until ppl realize its true. When 2 fighters enter a ring, the one who faces the better comp almost always wins. Pac vs Floyd for example

If Floyd cared about his legacy and had confidence in his ability he would face GGG at 160, but Floyd doesn't on both accounts.

It is not a dangerous fight for Floyd at 160, because if it gets too much, he can always quit. He can go down from a phantom punch if he feels it necessary. But that is a fight that nobody would begrudge Floyd if he ran, held all night if he wanted to.

Why should he have to prove anything against posters like yourself?

The minute he does beat GGG, all you guys will do is say "Floyd ran like a chicken. Bark Bark Bark. Chicken Fraud Floyd". Or you'll say "GGG beat no one and was never proven or did anything of substance".

If I'm Mayweather, I'll tell posters like yourself to suck a dlck and go on about my business

The real TBE took on the Middleweight Champion FIVE times!!! All though the welter champ became the middle champ he still fought him FIVE times loosing ONCE!
The size difference is a few inches in height, the 154 belt is Floyds GGG says he'll make 154 they could put the 160 belt up too. You can fight for the 160 belt at 125 if you want to you just can't exceed 160!!!!!
Come on lil' Floyd you "get by" these others guys who are vfaster and have as much experience as GGG has. Whats the problem? Someone who could punch? I know people think that Manny or Canelo or Cotto are punchers but their not! Their KO's came fighting stiffs at the beginning of their career and at lower weights. None of these guys can punch worth a ****! Canelo fought a totally unprepared guy last week who walked into shots.

Listen Floyd Mayweather will pick someone who can't break an egg!!!
Did you see some of the still pics of Maidana and Manny hitting him?
He looked hurt & scared his old man was begging him to finish with his hook but he didn't have confidence to "punch with anyone"! He's smart!!
He better not trade with even the egg beaters, legs aren't there to move & hold him up and he knows it! One of the smartest boxers ever, I'll give him that.

Why should he when he won't get credit for it... I can think of at least 3 excuses lined up already.

You guys always do this schit. Say Floyd can't beat someone, then once it happens have 1,000 excuses
