Not to mention that the ass beating by Mosley occurred in Jan 2009. Pacquiao had never fought a fight at 147 at that point in time, and had in fact just moved up to 144 from 135 and had an upcoming bout @ 140 with Hatton. The reality is that virtually no one was asking Pac to fight Margarito before Margarito's fight with Mosley.

Mayweather however is the holder of two 154lb belts having fought ODLH & Cotto at 154 and Canelo at 152. A fight with GGG at <=154 is a fight with more precedence than a Pac fight with Margarito before Jan 2009. Additionally, some people in the boxing stratosphere (like Robert Garcia) have expressed interest in a May/GGG fight.
    May relinquished all his belts

GGG has everything his way.He has the luxury of fighting guys HE KNOWS can't hurt him.

He's cruising over dead opponents in a sh.it division.

Soon as he faces adversity he will fold like a lawn chair.
That argument might hold for Cotto, but not for Saul the undisputed 'Canelo-weight' champ. When is the last time Saul made <=154? GGG was 170 in the ring against Willie Monroe and Saul was 172 against Trout. I don't remember the exact weights they were in the ring against other opponents, but I am almost positive they have both shown up low 170s pretty regularly during the past couple years. To suggest that they consistently weigh within a couple lbs of each other in the ring but somehow GGG is the only one that can be considered a legit MW is laughable to me.

Has he down so officially yet? I know he said he was going to. I hadn't yet heard that he had relinquished them.

Also, that wouldn't change the fact that he's had fights at 154 before though.

Golovkin 5'9? He's 5'11 at the least but since we're making up heights hey lets roll with that.

How do you have so much green k.... you consistently post complete nonsense and you never post outside of MayPac topics. Just shows how much of a joke this forum is sometimes.
You need glasses Floyd was far larger than PAC GGG has never been listed at 5 foot 11

Manny is 5'5 with a 5" reach disadvantage. Seriously he looked like a garden gnome in the ring with Floyd.

Take thee GGG fight at 154 and just do your usual boring crap...

Tard nation has gone from Hatton, to Mosley, to Canelo, to Pacquiao (their last hope)..and now they leap on GGG.. these bastards refuse to die. .Pacquiao was the LAST CHANCE, give it up Tards.. that was your ace, that was your Mariano Rivera, he was supposed to close the show on the ****y Mayweather.. he failed.. abort the mission. just accept Floyd is the best. . I know its a tough reality, but its reality.. your 6 year gameplan was worthless.

Not to mention they asked for the fight in the first place. They genuinely believed TBE was scared, but they started prepping up the excuses once it was signed.
