I don't think anyone disputes any of that, no one says Rigondeaux didn't have a better amateur career, the man won two Olympic gold medals and won gold in everything else (World Amateur Games, PAN AM Games, World Cup, etc).

You are correct sir. Me being a Cuban American I honestly do appreciate the Rigo's,Floyd's, Lara's etc... It's just the style I prefer but I don't knock and I honestly do appreciate as a matter of fact I'm enamored by guys like GGG and a prime Tyson and I don't think anyone who favors the technicians should knock their styles... Because if you know what to look for there is a ton of IQ and intricacies in what those "brawlers" are doing.

That said the guys I tend to favor (Cuban style) get mocked much more for their style of fighting ... And I don't even think it's close. At the end of the day one of them is getting called a "coward" and the other is getting called "one dimensional" both are unfair but one of them stings more because nobody who chooses to literally Fight for their life deserves to be called a coward just my $.02

what i said was that in cuban boxing, defense is the number one key and so is style and poise,, but in other countries like russian or easter erope boxing,,there gyms dont teach good defense and rather they work on there power punching and combination punches,,,but unfortunately for them combination punching odesnt work against a guy with good defense

I have a soft spot for Cuban boxers and baseball players Cuz their struggle to get at this level is unbelievable!! I'll start with that. I'm Puerto Rican and two of my favorite fighters are Tito and Camacho. Two totally offering style of fighters. I loved Titos killer instinct more but I enjoy both styles of boxing. It's like a pitcher, you got a guy who throws 100 and then another who who has good fastball, great slider, sick change and gets u out a number of ways. Or a home run hitter compared to a guy who hits for high avg, steals bases, good glove on the field. In Boxing though, I hate it when people say if you don't like Floyds style u don't know about boxing Cuz that's the real way to fight. No, it's a way to fight. We need to appreciate both is all I'm basically saying u know.

You're basically saying aggressive fighters are just bar room brawlers with no skill while boxers like Rigo are technicians etc..... You're putting down one style of boxing and putting the other on a pedestal.

Just hyperbole. Ask Max off camera and he'll tell you what's up.
