    I do agree I'd rather see Golovkin & Froch have separate fights in September then fight in December (Golovkin could starch Lara in the meantime), but I don't see Froch investing into a meaningless opponent, especially with a high chance of him picking up another injury.
    Possibly not, but at the same time McCracken and Hearn will be mindful of the lay-off.

      Froch is waiting to see the DeGale-Dirrell outcome and, if DeGale wins and if the fans' pressure is great, Carl may switch to a domestic big fight as well... Am I wrong?

        I think its very possible unless he truly believe that he can derail the GGG hype train , if so he might be tempted

          He was just on Sky, he was initially kind of on the fence about a tune-up saying it could be an issue but then said he reckons he wants to get straight back in with a serious fighter like Floyd does.
