Whoever puts forward the best performance, gets the fight [Mayweather Promotions looks to put on a PPV show that brings in domestic PPV, UK PPV, Canadian PPV, and a sizable Mexico TV rights fee]. If both look terrible, or even end up losing, Danny Garcia gets the fight.

Unless Khan looses which he won't, he's most likely getting the fight with Mayweather. He has the biggest fan base out of Brook and Garcia

Fight sucks but people acting like Thurman is ducking anyone is clueless
Nobody said anything about Thurman ducking anyone. He's s helluva fighter who will fight anyone. Al Haymon "The Pimp", is the problem. He tells his hookers what street corner to stand on, and they have no say; ask Danny Garcia. Setting up Collazo with Thurman is as gross as setting Salka in front of Danny Garcia. This fight is nothing more than a quick hooker's trick for a buck. Just a ****** fight.

100% agree this ain't about Thurman, hell if it were up to khan, thurman, broner, Garcia etc they would all be fighting each other. But daddy Haymon is the problem. Those fights won't happen because he won't let it. So you get each guy fighting lesser competition. Pathetic

What a shit fight, and I'm as big of a Thurman fan as anybody on here.

I don't want to hear Keith hyping this one up and talking crap about others welterweights. Just get the job done and get back to serious business in the fall against a quality guy.

That's why Haymon never speaks to the media, never shows himself in public or at press conferences. Because he doesn't want to answer the tough questions or explain himself. He's got 150+ hookers he's hoarded to his brothel. He only delivered Guerrero/Thurman to kick off big ratings for his NBC contract. That's not like him to pit two high profile fighters against one another. Remember, he and SHO's Espinoza brought us the "Deepest PPV Card in Boxing" with Garcia vs Salka & Peterson vs Santana!!! Then made us wait more than a year for Garcia vs Peterson, and Al obviously felt Garcia could cash bigger checks, so he insured any close decision went in the favor of Garcia....a fight Peterson clearly won; just look at Garcia's face. Haymon is horrible for Boxing. Which is why Dela Hoya is suing him for a few hundred million dollars.

Meh, pretty awful fight which is sadly a common occurrence at 147 right now.

Collazo, as always, will lose. His only ever notable win came against an out of retirement, part-time actor in Victor Ortiz...who had been stopped in his previous two fights.

The WBA ranks Andre Berto number 1, but I knew he won't be interested fighting Thurman.
