Yeah but Boxingscene.com posted their P4P list and has him at #2. That isn't just some random Joe opinion, it's a major site ranking. So you guys need to stop deflecting because we all know how you casuals like to use P4P list to validate your overhyped fighters. Look at number 48.

Again, I have beaten this topic to death and I'm sick of explaining my opinions and views but that's exactly what they are, opinions and views.

Sure his style is pleasing to watch, but who wouldn't look impressive or devastating against limited foes? Yaegashi, his best win in some time, wouldn't and shouldn't be enough to catapult anyone into the top 10 pound for pound. I mean, Akira dropped back down to 108 and was conquered in a faster fashion with a more devastating KO by Pedro Guevara, does that make Pedro a top ten pound for pound fighter too?

Roman went from not even cracking the top or barely fitting into it before that bout, to stomping down past more proven fighters on the list, how? What has he done since to garner such accolades? Because if we are talking about his over all resume, which is good no doubt, why wasn't he placed or even mentioned on the list before?

Thus, my statement. Again, it's all personal opinion and views on the matter.
But don't get me wrong, I would not rate him #2. He needs to face and beat better competition impressively

Estrada was clearly beat. Look how accurate gonzalez is and also look how many estrada's punches hit glove. Take note of that and you will see how clearly better he is with offence and defence.
You come accross really bias with what i highlighted. Even the ringside scorer was pro estrada and had it for gonzalez!!! He give the first 3 or 4 for estrada ffs lol
How in the **** was Estrada clearly beat when he was constantly punching in 10 of the 12 rounds and landing combination after combination. Gonzalez was scared to open up and mount his own offense unless he rocked estrada and knew he was hurt. Other than that Gonzalez will keep his hands up and Estrada will still find ways to permeate his defense and catch him with stunning combos. Estrada movement and jab was crucial in helping him find range and distance. Also he will keep a double or triple left hook body attack to land his head shot combinations. Gonzalez was visibly tired in the later rounds from getting punched in the gut. You can tell Gonzalez game plan was betting on estrada to tire himself out early in the fight. It didn't work and it left Gonzalez getting broken down and hit. Estrada was robbed man.. He landed the cleaner blows and combinations. He didn't care if he missed 1 punch or 1 punch was block he kept working and Gonzalez will get hit with like 5 shots after trying to defend 1 punch. Gonzalez will parry 1 or 2 punches with his glove but Estrada was throwing 5 more follow ups and connecting. Then Estrada will pivot off and hit him to the body. That strategy effectively neutralize Gonzalez for at least 9 rounds.

Yiu guys don't know boxing at all.

So Estrada defeated and even outclassed Gonzalez? Someone hasn't been taking their meds.

That fact that 16 people voted that Roman is more skilled than Guillermo on the poll, shows that boxing knowledge on Boxingscene.com is almost non-existent.

This is absolutely atrocious and blasphemous.

Estrada was definitely robbed. Watch the fight, stop being a follower.

I applaud the T.S. for this excellent thread. You hurt a lot of feelings, . The truth is a lot of the b1tchboys on here can't bring themselves to like an African-American or Mexican fighter so when fighters like Manny Pacquiao, Gennady Golovkin, and Roman Gonzalez come around they hype them through the roof. In the end Juan Francisco Estrada will come out on top just like KTFO6, , .

Top man for my taste, he exceeds all the others with Rigo right there if he'd open up his offense more often. Whats hysterical is Wlad on the list!!!
Imagine him at 147 fighting Pac & Floyd or 54 with Canelo or 160 in with GGG?
Put Wlad at 118 in with Chocolatito, he would be blasted out in 1 or 2 rds.
p4p is highly skilled so that a p4p king can achieve greatness in any weight class. What in the world does Wlad do better than the other men I mentioned?

                  Gonzalez
                  Rigo
                  Floyd

the others are NOT great talents.

Finishing a guy off>>coasting to a ud. Its not always about pure skill. Don't know when you guys will realize that. Its about results mostly.

he holds better so that his opponents can't initiate any offense and the fight only happens when he wants it to happen. that has become a boxing "skill"
