Split, you brought up how Mayweather should have stepped into his right hands, it becomes more telegraphed and as I said on the other thread where you didn't reply, Pacquiao isn't as easy to hit as it's made out to be.
Pacquiao slipped it and came back nicely. In fact look at the right hand Mayweather stepped in with in round 6, Pacquiao countered it with the overhand left. That should answer your question man.
Pacquiao's commitment to that punch wasn't any different than the one that continued to break Cotto down, the difference was, Mayweather's control of distance took steam out of those punches.
By the way the left hook Pacquiao threw in the other gif I posted, he did land it. Pacquiao was in the mist of moving away as Mayweather bumped him with his left shoulder.
I'll respect your opinion on that but I'll disagree with you. The Marquez KTFO6 was the caused why Pacquiao changed his style. Though I agree with you about Mayweather's control of the distance (along with his reflexes). It can lessen the effect of a punch.

Here is the proof, distance control for Mayweather made the difference. To a fighter like Cotto, those lefts hurt!

I think we can both agree that Pacquiao's power is not the same as before along with Mayweather's control of the distance lessen the impact of the punch.

I can agree with that, won't get into that entirely but I'm speaking more in terms of his commitment.
