No one can force that coward to fight Stevenson.

No one can force that Coward Stevenson to fight Kovalev. It's better for Stevenson just to hold on to that little belt as long as he can against his mandatories cause Kovalev would knock her out

Or.. he can stay where he's at, fight the Rodriguez/Baker winner, fight Fonfara again, and then fight Pascal, making more money and being in more meaningful fights that Kovalev has to look forward to (with Oothuizen, Bute and the young bucks [Beterbiev/Alvarez/Williams] all available to fight)

Kovalev fight Mohammedi .... and then what? An in-house fight with Chilemba, and then the well runs dry (especially if Ward sticks at 168, waiting for Golovkin).

lol. that's the story you're going with now? Stevenson has the lineal title, the biggest gate is going to come in Montreal, the vast majority of the money will be coming in from Canadian PPV, yet Kovalev thinks 50/50 is a bad deal?

Hopkins couldn't secure the Stevenson fight, because he wanted a 75/25 split of the money; Hopkins-Kovalev happen so quick because Kovalev was more than happy to accept the short-end of a 75/25 split (would've probably accepted 85/15 too, if that were the price)
