According to promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sports, super middleweight star Carl Froch (33-2, 24KOs) is starting to express some interest in facing WBA/IBO middleweight Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs).
In an earlier article on BoxingScene.com, Triple G's promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions stated that Golovkin has no problem with testing himself by moving up to the super middleweight division to fight Froch.
Froch has been inactive since knocking out George Groves before 80,000 fans last May at Wembley Stadium.
I bet Froch is chomping at the bit after seeing ggg get touched up Marilyn Monroe.Comment

This is why I would slightly favor Froch. Froch can crack and I just don't see GGG walking through his shots. All I know is if what he said about carrying Monroe for a few extra rounds is true, and he pulls that **** on Froch, he will get put to sleep, granite chin or not.Comment

Bad move!!!!
GGG needs to stay away from the "Cobra", far away.
I can hear Froch now ......................
"I'm Carl 'The Cobra' Froch -- You know the International Boxing Star who KO'ed Groves at Wembly stadium in front of 80K screaming fans and also the one who destroyed GGG""Comment

Indeed it was tongue in cheek, as Froch later clarified:
"It was tongue in cheek back then. I was being a bit cheeky and you can take those comments with a pinch of salt. What I will say though is this guy can ****ing punch: he's dangerous and if he can be avoided we'll avoid him"Comment
