Common sense dictates that the more active you are the less consistently skilled your opposition can be... or you'd run out of elite fighters in 1 year of fighting.

Golovkin also just came from beating Murray and Geale, some of the best in his division. Come off it.

2.) You are fighting 4 times a year
3.) Promotor/contract/scheduling issues, etc.

Remember his other options at the time? ..Tureano Johnson, Heiland..? Remember everyone shitting on those possibilities saying Monroe would be the better test but GGG was afraid of "slick" styles or whatever? He picks the "better" option but still gets shit on.
