If the former, I seriously doubt they are ashamed. Boxing fans tend to hyperbolize when it comes to boxers -- casting judgment and misusing words like "honor" and "shame" from the safety of their keyboards. People in the inner circle see things from a different perspective. They are exposed to pressure points and variables that the typical fan has never experienced.

If the latter, well, those fans need to get a life. I'm a big Cotto fan and would have liked him to have fought sooner after beating Martinez, but none of his choices have caused me any shame. He's a professional athlete, not my son.
    Indeed and very well said.

lol! True dat bro, sad but true!

These numb nuts are sad like you said earlier, I celebrate WITH them each and every time King Cotto wins and destroys the competition.

Can wait to see Cotto once again expose CaneLOL and see him face GGG to quiet the haters!

From this day forward, Cotto will be known in my posts as Kneeguel Clucko. That is the only name he deserves until the day he vacates his title or has a testicle transplant and fights GGG. The guy is an embarrassment to the sport.

Yet he's the only one of the WW/JMW's to go up and fight a MW right? Because he picks on smaller guys all the time. Cotto's been the smaller guy in every fight except for when he fought Floyd. Other than that you'd have to go to WW when he was actually bigger than anyone he faced... idiot. And even then he was still smaller than Clottey and Margarito lol.

This is the question I want answered. I could care less about a re-match clause as it is common. The other thing is. Would'nt Geale be allowed a voluntary? Would Cotto be considered his voluntary if they rematched? How the **** all this would work is confusing lol.

The winner of Cotto's next fight MUST fight Golovkin unless GGG agrees to step aside. They do not get a voluntary defense first. I believe this also applies to a rematch clause. That would come into effect AFTER the mandatory defense.

If he had acted with honour after beating Martinez by handing back the WBC belt and moving back down to SWW with his place in the MW lineage secure, he would be one of the most popular and respected fighters in the game right now, with fans from every nation and demographic.

As it is, deep down, I'm sure that even his own people are secretly ashamed of him now, and that is why they troll every GGG thread with their misdirected hatred.
To your first statement, no not ashamed at all of him. To your second statement unlike the way you GGG fans hate on Cotto, we Cotto fans don't care about GGG enough to hate him. And for the record Cotto already has fans in most demographics that follow boxing including Mexicans. When Cotto fights on June 6, Canelo after that and GGG after that you will hate him on fight night and the day after, but while he is fighting putting on an entertaining fight you will be enjoying it because Cotto has been in zero boring fights.

I hope GGG gets his big payday fight soon and retires undefeated, because if he is beaten or exposed in the near future you will be one lonely, miserable and depressed little man without your hero. And you sure are very original with your choice of nicknames for Cotto, totally pathetic.
