You do realize that PBC did not take any fighters from HBO, don't you? None of Haymon's fighter were on HBO and none of GBP's fighters either until recently. They were all on Showtime. Now that PBC exists, HBO still has great fights and the top production team and broadcasts while PBC is like a high school show, not even college level. The big loser in all of this is Showtime who have absolutely nothing left when it comes to boxing.Comment

One thing I do like though is the Competition forced HBO to step it up as Arum Admitted so that is actually GREAT for both PBC and HBO to give the fans The Best! Also driving up the price for the fighters which is the real reason why Arum and HBO don't like Haymonbut this is actually GREAT for the fighters. HBO trying to get big fights for cheap on their Network is BS, pay the fighters accordingly!
As I posted in another thread, I think both will do fine. I think PBC will grow and HBO will continue to score it solid premium channel ratings. Only thing is HBO is limited, they will have weeks and weeks of downtime without showing fights like last year because they don't have a deep roster. Even if you combine Top Rank, GBP and K2, HBO only care about showing a select few of those fighters.
PBC haven't even rolled out any big match ups yet but I'm sure they will start likely over the Summer. Getting Schaefer in August as rumored would be HUGE for PBC as well, they could really use his match making. He was giving fans awesome stacked cards which nobody been doing since SchaeferLast edited by sicko; 05-20-2015, 09:36 PM.Comment
