The reasonable solution is to force him to take his mandatory if he gets past his voluntary and if he refuses, strip him of the title. He should not be permitted to hold the title he won hostage and use it for monetary gain just because he refuses to abide by the obligations that come with the title.

Professional boxers r usually very tough guys . I don't like when people marginalize GGG KO streak . Most journey men who are ranked 10th or 15th by any given sanctioning body are difficult to KO , so when we see someone who's knocking out or stopping Rosado (who's extremely tough) and Stevens then it's nothing to sneeze at . Do I think GGG should be tested against tougher opponents like Ward and Canelo = Absulutely . But do I think he's overrated = Absoluteley Not . No more than I think Wilder is overrated for his very high KO streak , even though we probably couldn't name most of the opponents on his record. Instead of attempting to maginalize what they r doing in the ring , I think the real question we should be asking is r these Eastern Europeans clean fighter or r they taking some new undetected enhancement that is giving them inordinate power .

it isnt GGGs fault that Cotto is a small guy for 160. fact is that hes holding a belt in GGGs division. Cotto is being justly criticized for turning the lineal title into a joke.

Then Martinez was stripped of the WBC title and he wanted that title back. In the mean time cotto had fights with mayorga, the rematch with plasterito and then a fight with floyd.

There is comedy in that, these haters talk shyt about Cotto while none of their idols can ever say they even attempted to fight Sergio. The shame they must feel to see the smaller Cotto, come up to 160, to fight the very man they avoided. This is why they try and detract from Cotto's win over Martinez. They know full well, Canelo was ducking "crippled" Sergio.
