I wouldn't care at all. The belt is the only reason I care.

As far as technique being the reason for the distinction in power I'll say this ; Kovalev merely tapped Caparello to the front of his body from long distance and forced him to take a knee . There was no shifting involved . Lomachenko is probably the only one who is really using some advanced footwork and technique . Kovalev simply uses his inordinate power as his vanguard and anticipates that his opponents chin win succumb under his pressure before his does under yours . He does nothing special ! GGG does angle his toes inwardly when in close and aiming for kidney shots but that's about it , outside of that he does nothing really special as his footwork is average at best at any other distance . The main commonality is that they all sit heavily on their punches and rely heavily on mere power . I think Lomachenko is the distinguished boxing wizard out of the bunch ! For the record , I'm not concluding that these guys r all dirty , but what I am stating is that I'm su****ious and I feel I have a reasonable right to be as I watched Trinidad
ruin careers while most cheered on the KO campaign . I also watched unprecedented history while McGuire and Sosa was on their history making home run campaign . If history has taught us anything it's taught us to think critically when these sort of record breaking anomalies start occurring with high frequency
You´re not looking closely enough. The power those ex Soviet schooled boxers have (GGG, Kovalev, Kudryashov etc) is based on their balance and technique. No pointless flashy dancing around but always moving and placing their feet with one purpose only: to be in position to really hurt the other guy at any given time. Also, their (physical) strength is where it really counts: mid section. Just look at GGG and Monroe, you should see what I mean. I´m tempted to say too many US fighters spend too much time and energy to look pretty at the weigh in. And yes, I am over simplifying and generalizing.

Lomachenko has no power, neither does Gradovich, Glazkov, Korobov or Shafikov.

Golovkin, Kovalev and Beterbiev are all based in North America, attending separate North American gyms.

I think it is unbelievable how much crap people give to Geale. This is a haaaard fight for Cotto. I personally believe that Geale is goingto win on points, if not robbed. He is the bigger man, and very capable boxer if he wihes to do so.

Geale will outbox Cotto worse than Trout did. There are weight divisions for a reason.

This fight will never happen. And he's right about Geale.

However I would root for Cotto against Maidana and Khan as hard as it is to believe for some people on this site.
Broner, et al. would beat Cotto? That's some crazy talk right there.
