On May 2nd, former three division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley was an interested spectator at ringside, as he watched two of his former opponents square off in the 'Fight of The Century.' Floyd Mayweather Jr. won a twelve round unanimous decision over Manny Pacquiao to unify the WBO/WBA/WBC welterweight world titles.
Mosley, who lost twelve round decisions to both fighters, viewed their match as a very close contest. He disagreed with the CompuBox punch stats, which saw Mayweather throwing a higher volume of punches.
I think Floyd won, but its funny seeing all the little flom0s scuttling to Floyds aid when someone questions the validity of a win they perceive in their Floyd tinted specs, as a near or complete shut out.
The fight could have been a draw between Floyd and Manny, I wish, but it is not true ,Floyd won at least 8 or maybe 9 rounds depending on your view, but he was a clear winner. Mosley do not become a boxing judge, cause you do not have a clue.
More and more facts are coming out about the corruption behind this bout. Many people have slowed down the fight and counted the landed punches, and everyone who does that will tell you Manny outlanded Floyd by a decent margin. There is a video on YouTube that shows every landed punch, they slowed it down to 60 frames per second when they counted and Manny outlanded Floyd 8 rounds to 4. The commentators were so biased. So many punches that looked like Floyd landed at first pacquiao actually blocked. Pacquiao actually had a much higher connect percentage and had the better defense along with the harder punches all fight. One armed pacquiao won this fight, this is almost as bad as the Tim Bradley robbery
pac's punches were so quick the judges and most viewers did not see pac's punches connect....
i may not believe what holyfield and shane say about the fight....
but i do believe what the car racing champion said that he think pac won...
when it comes to looking at speed, he's tops..ha ha ha
They have opinions and we, the great unwashed, have our opinions too. I'm going to watch it again (no audio too once again), but so far I haven't changed my mind from fight night: that Floyd clearly won. As a matter of fact, just as the fight ended I was thinking that Floyd could have fought and beat Canelo shortly after he finished fighting and beating Pacquiao.
floyd landed hard enough to keep manny at bay with his moving shots....had manny scared to throw volume punches--he was hurting manny---just face it....manny was afraid to throw----floyd won 9 rounds to 3....at least----
