Last week 155lb superstar Canelo Alvarez said he’s willing to fight middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin “in the future.”
Golovkin fired back at Canelo tonight. “No. Not for the future. I’m ready right now! I’m ready for Canelo and Cotto.”
Canelo then responded via Twitter, “When the day comes for me to move up to 160 I will face the best in the division. Sincerely and with humility I don’t see any real competition for me. Greetings to everyone!”

Cotto got bigger fish to fry
But for real though, he'll probably fight Canelo next if he can't get a rematch with Mayweather.

He should fight Canelo and if he wins, fight GGG or drop the belts.
Or just drop the belts and do wtf he wants. It's not like he's gonna' fail to draw at 154.
I do not endorse the Geale fight if there's a c-dub involved. That's bull****.

Cotto is fully focused on Geale. He knows that Geale is a very very tough challenge for him (and for anyone) and that he must not take him lightly at all. If he gets past Geale then for sure he will start considering a Canelo or GGG fight next.

Canelo's last couple of opponents have been better than Cotto's. Not saying he's better but Cotto has no room to talk.
