u guys have lost all sense of realty over this golovin hero
I wasn't comparing resumes, or even mentioning Golovkin. I was discussing the Holmes fight. I brought it up because I heard that story before. Holmes wasn't given a fair chance, Tyson admits as much. The quality of the win is dubious.

Hasn't fought the best competition over the course of his career, but he's actually flattened near everyone he's ever stepped into the ring with, outside of Stiverne (12 rounds) and Gavern (quit after 4).

      now THAT'S a knockout artist
Wilder has two legit fights in a 33 fight career. One of them the guy went the distance, the other didn't even try to get up.

When Wilder starts doing it to top 10 guys then you'll have an argument. To be clear, Wilder hasn't KO'd a single top 10 fighter.

Tyson beats the crap out of an opponent, dropping them multiple times and, typically on that final knockdown, the ref doesn't even bother with the count; hence the TKO.

expected you to be sharper than that.
that's the point I've already made, if Golovkin is allowed to continue beating on these guys after dropping them, they don't get up either.

Would help to watch the actual fights before making such outlandish claims; Golovkin's only massive shot landed on Rosado was in the sixth, and even then, within about a minute, Rosado was passed that shot and in the fight.
Rosado had another 15 minutes of punishment to last with Golovkin, he was on his bike heavy and still eating big shots, no way he hears the bell at the end of the 12th round.

Ask Billy Briscoe: "I gotta stop it, your son's gonna die"

      He calls out PPV names.

The GGG hype has become so annoying and unrealistic, Rosado, Murray and Ouma kind of proved to me that if GGG steps up to super-middle he's Arthur Abrahams all over again. His power won't trouble the bigger guys as much and the quality in that division is much greater. He wouldn't get far and knows this.
Well he's not a SMW, so what does it matter? He's willing to go up for a PPV fight, and that's only Carl Froch at this point in time.

If I was GGG, I'd probably STFU about fighting welterweights and just try to dominate the ****ty MW division and potentially equal or beat Hopkins' title defence record.
He has called out the JMW champion for a fight at JMW against the biggest draw in boxing, for some reason that brings tears to many people's eyes.

It was GGG's camp that said he'd dominate at 168, they created that notion themselves but for some reason it brings tears to many people's eyes when a SMW is mentioned as a possible opponent....but it's all good calling out JMW's and WW's right?!

Nah....he'd be an American Haymon hyoejob. He'd be a bad guy. Part of his marketability is his broken English too.

Then what's he doing with the belts? Is he not the lineal champion? Unless he vacates he's fair game to be called out at the weight and nobody should have an issue with it. It's not like he's asking him to go to 160.

I'm not in favor of the bout, but Golovkin has every right to propose it at 154.

I don't see the logic in saying if he steps up to a weight class which is not his own that means he's no good.

If he holds two titles at JMW then hes' fair game. Vacate the titles and tell everyone he's too small of a man to defend them and then it won't be an issue.

Golovkin is overrated but what can he do?

Other than Ward 168 doesn't have much going on.

                  Mike Tyson was a heavyweight

Why isn't anyone hailing roman Gonzalez as the next mike Tyson?

                  It's because he's not a heavyweight.

                      Look at it this way.

If Golovkin was American, everybody would be calling for a Mayeather showdown.
