Angulo caught him many times, so why would Golovkin - a bigger and better fighter in all ways - not finish him off in less than 12?

Lara is solid....and that's what he is for GGG...a solid TEST that I would favor GGG in...Lara got ran down cornered and dropped by Perro....plus that Nelo pressure had him uncomfortable...I think GGG brings what Perro and Nelo brought times three...that said, I still wouldn't be surprised if Lara outboxed him and got the upset....GGG got a few leaks in his defense game so there's always a chance of him being beaten as his comp level rises

This thread needs to be stickied because this topic keeps coming up in other threads. Golovkin vs. Lara would look like an episode of Tom & Jerry.

Golovkin vs. Lara is a mismatch. Golovkin needs real tests, if they exist in his weight class.

It's a classic boxer vs pressure fighter matchup, my favorite type. I don't see how it can't be good and why people would think it would be some boring marathon. GGG isn't a flat footed fighter like Canelo. If GGG can't catch Lara and make an interesting fight out of it like Angulo managed, GGG isn't really the guy people say he is.

Tom & Jerry is one of my favorite cartoons, so I'm not trying to belittle the match-up. Lara will be sticking and moving all night, setting the occasional trap while GGG will chase him into corners and force him to engage. I want to see this match-up just so Lara can finally show what he's really made of. He seems way too content with his lackluster performances as of late, and I think 3G will push him to the limit. Lara will either grow before our eyes or he'll get bulldozed. Either way, it'll be an interesting fight.

Lara would land some decent shots but get dropped multiple times early. I think GGG would carry him for a few rounds to make it interesting prior to KO'ng him cold around the 5th.

Well thats just youre opinion, you guys act like GGG is unbeatable. He is beatable. Just like anyone else. Lara also has over 300 amatuer fights of experience.
