Absolutely. It may sound hard to believe but he literally stopped moving his head and told Willie to throw some Mo. He explained it in full during his post fight interview.

      true.

however, you must take into account the fact that golovkin doesn't fight like floyd, lara or trout. he (canelo) will be facing something new, just like golovkin.

and please don't say angulo, that guy is (or was) very overrated on this forum. just because he dropped lara twice (another overrated fighter btw) it doesn't mean he's good.

That is a bunch of Bull**** and fans making excuses for his weaknesses.

He doesn't move his head and his Defense is his Offense. He can get away with eating punches to get off his punches vs Weaker Opponents but vs better fighters we shall see if he is "Letting People Blast Him In The Face On Purpose"

Just because fighters have Flaws does not mean they're not good fighters by the way so i don't know why fans are so on the Defensive when someone point out a flaw in their favorite fighter. Every fighter has Flaws!

same thing with murray, the only diffrence is, the brit has a better chin than monroe.

don't get fooled by these fights, we haven't seen golovkin's best version yet.
You said that like he's some 21-year-old prospect. Dude is 33. We're seeing his best.

kirkland got ko'ed by ishida, remember?

has canelo's stamina suddenly vastly improved?

has golovkin stopped being one of the (if not the) most vicious and precise body punchers in the game?
if he fights him at 160 it might.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't mean he's just standing there waiting to be punched. I think it's more of a he wants to fight and he forces you to do
the same. Basically he's not afraid to to get hit in order to get his offense off.

I also noticed he stopped attacking and actually stepped back whenever Willie let his hands go, not a good look. At first I figured he was trying to set up traps or shoot off a counter but he wasn't, at times He didn't retaliate at all. That may be something a combination puncher like Canelo can exploit whenever they do face off. GGG has an iron chin but his body may not be as sturdy, we'll find out in due time.

He literally saw/sensed the combo coming and didn't even bother to counter even-though Monroe was within range. Yes, GGG is basically allowing dudes to hit him and I really wish he wouldn't because it's fucking ******!
