How could Canelo's steam go in the second round when he nearly decapitated Kirkland in the third?

He has to take a break every round, he doesn't have 3 minute stamina and Golovkin is relentless.

I don't think Canelo has the power either, granted he cracked Kirkland but he couldn't stop Trout, Lara and the Angulo stoppage was a gift after Canelo made hard work of finishing him. He'll be stepping up in weight class to fight Golovkin so his power is likely to dissipate further.

Nope. GGG was being ******, deliberately trying to show what a bad mofo he is. He was being ****y, which will get him KTFO against Cotto or Canelo -- or any great fighter -- if he keeps doing it.

He needs to stay focused on his smarts, his cerebral style. The power is there when he needs it, but has to set up shots, fight with intelligence. He got sloppy last night, which is concerning. There's a difference between being gassed and being ******.

Never mind being ****y and reckless against Canelo and Cotto and getting knocked out he will end up getting Buster Douglas'd if he fights like again against someone who can ****. Golovkin and Canelo are my favourite current fighters and Canelo will knock Golovkin out if he comes in like that, with that said he clearly will not, last night was all about building his fan base and I think he did it. But his stock has once again fallen with his critics. I hate Ward but Ward dominates him. Carl Froch would knock him spark out if Golovkin wasn't on top form technically and was patient. No doubt.

I keep reading this from GGG fans. That GGG was letting Monroe and Murray punch him flushly in his face because he had no respect for their power.

How many people here believe this? He looked gassed to me after the 4th round, like he may have punched himself out a bit, trying to take Monroe out after putting him down twice.
