I think GGG's power is massively overrated. He doesn't have 1 knockout punch power. I think Lemule hits harder than GGG and thats why GGG was scared to trade with him so he boxed himBoxed the puncher, when he was supposed to be the killer.

Murray is one of the very few honest guys in the sport who was able to keep his head on straight after getting it rearranged.
Geale quit against GGG, and that made it even easier to quit against Cotto. GGG left that mark.
Rosado had to go into self delusion to stay around. He's now a full time conspiracy theorist.
Funny you mention Lemieux, as he and Canelo have a lot in common - wing power punches without setting them up, bad stamina, no jab, etc. They both mainly just have hand speed. And yeah, GGG left that mark on the French Canadian as well. Hopefully for Canelo there's a referee that will protect his future.

It's a fight I'd love to see, but I'm not holding my breath. I honestly don't think there's a fighter out there that can survive 12 rounds with GGG unless they are significantly physically bigger than him, like over 6 foot tall, and weighing a good 10+ more pounds than Golovkin.
Size matters. This board overlooks the fact. Everybody overlooks it. Canelo beat Cotto with size and strength. He wasn't more skilled. But he was bigger and this took its toll.
GGG is probably a little bigger than Canelo anyway. Plus he's very, very skilled and excellent at FORCING fighters to engage and fight.
Canelo would not be able to finish the fight.

I just want to see the God damn fight. I've said before that in all likelyhood, GGG kos Canelo. That said Canelo does a lot better than many people think. It will be a tough fight for GGG and possibly a great ****ing fight. Canelo is'nt going to be some speedbump for GGG to run over.

GGG by late T/KO or wide decision. Even favourable judging won't be enough to swing this fight for Canelo.
I like Canelos willingness to test himself but he has always looked solid but unexceptional to me. GGGs Jab, accuracy, workrate and pressure are simply too much for the kid. After a round or two of feeling out Canelo is on the backfoot all night long and reduced to throwing the occasional counter flurry. He ain't got the power to trouble GGG or the footwork to baffle him.

Wing punchesCanelo's technique is miles better than GGG's and Lemule
you can't even compare his skill to Alvarez's.
