Hell, maybe we're all wrong and your dead right, but common sense says that golovkin knocks canelo the **** out.
    I'm sticking to my guns.

Canelo couldn't hurt Cotto like smaller fighters have done even after landing flush, hard shots. GGG will walk through those shots and do his thing!

He will fight to fight a safe fight like he did vs Lemule lol your boy was straight scared of going to war with Lemule
I think Canelo showed he'd rather box with Cotto instead of taking a war with him which he could have easily done but put himself in the risk of getting tagged it works both way the difference is Lemieux is a much bigger man who hits by far harder than Cotto.
Mark my words Canelo will back up for Golovkin but even If he doesn't I still think G would beat him off the backfoot Canelo is too slow.

Wing punches Canelo's technique is miles better than GGG's and Lemule you can't even compare his skill to Alvarez's.
His technique is better but both he and Lemiuex have the same approach to the game - stay too far outside because they have no jab, then whistle haymakers hoping that the target hasn't moved since they began torquing the punch. They really aren't that different, Lemieux just has more power and Canelo better at mixing offense and defense, but in the end they try to do the same thing - throw haymakers without setting them up. Canelo is an overrated boxer as much as Lemieux is an overrated brawler.

Didn't Canelo get shook by Cotto's brother? His face always gets marked up as well, no matter who he fights. I will almost feel bad for you if he ever fights GGG. Almost.

I like Canelos willingness to test himself but he has always looked solid but unexceptional to me. GGGs Jab, accuracy, workrate and pressure are simply too much for the kid. After a round or two of feeling out Canelo is on the backfoot all night long and reduced to throwing the occasional counter flurry. He ain't got the power to trouble GGG or the footwork to baffle him.
GGG would laugh at every punch Canelo hits him with

Sorry, I can't argue with ******ed fanboys who think Lemule and Canelo are on par in terms of skill level

Size matters. This board overlooks the fact. Everybody overlooks it. Canelo beat Cotto with size and strength. He wasn't more skilled. But he was bigger and this took its toll.

GGG is probably a little bigger than Canelo anyway. Plus he's very, very skilled and excellent at FORCING fighters to engage and fight.

Canelo would not be able to finish the fight.
Ward would shut out GGG 12-0

Canelo has what it takes to go 12 but I wouldn't bank on it. Fighting someone else at 160 first and doing well might change my mind but I doubt it.

I'd love to see Canelo/Golovkin, but I just don't think it's going to happen. I don't think anybody in the Canelo camp believes he can beat Golovkin, even at 155.

They won't budge off demanding "155", for this exact reason. They won't even offer 157 or 158. You watch.

He's sparred with Golovkin and he knows he can't beat him.

He can hope GGG gets sick with the flu on fight night -- as he did with Rosado, but even this wouldn't matter.

                      Fight ain't happening.
