Number of fighters that a chunk of fans aren't b!tching about: 0

I've been a big Golovkin skeptic but I will enjoy having a fan friendly guy getting hyped up on HBO all the time who I know will be enjoyed by casuals and bring attention to the sport. Like someone pointed out, Max got no problem saying nobody knows if Golovkin's as good as he looks against the guys he's been fighting. Which is fine. But you're supposed to get love and praise for delivering against contenders and prospects. So no problem with that from me.

I'd actual love if Rigo signed with Haymon and became a household name.
Rigo CANNOT become a household name.

His style of fighting is acceptable up to a degree (from a fan perspective) if he is at least a Lightweight, with average height. But he is a MANLET, and manlets already have a tough time getting TV dates, even if they're Mini-Mike Tyson's.

You add that up with the aformentioned (doesn't speak english, The U.S. based Cuban fan base isn't big enough), and it's career purgatory.

The best Al Haymon can do is stick him on a lot of PBC undercard fights if he willing to accept whatever money is being offered. Does Rigo have an ego? Will he accept fighting on undercards fight after fight? Maybe if he is ok with that, he can keep on fighting for Manlet purses.

People act like others are lying when they say he's beaten the other top middleweight (contenders) like Rubio, Macklin, and Murray. There aren't many elite tier fighters like you guys say but understand the guys Golovkin has been destroying are the top guys.

He's faced more guys in the top 25 MW than any other Middleweight belt holder. He's not parading around saying he's THE BEST EVER, let him do his career how he wants. If you guys support boxing as a business you would understand how this **** works.

Also have to love the hypocrisy of tonight's interview, he declares he's a fighter now, he wants Canelo and Cotto now (naturally smaller fighters), Ward gets mentioned and his whole triumphant epic speech comes to a halt, all of a sudden doesn't want to fight everyone and anyone right now, just smaller less mobile fighters.

Ward would kill this guy, and I'm so happy that interview happened so everyone saying that Ward was ducking GGG can see the truth.
GGG is good for boxing ... fights often, gets knockouts, is looking for big fights to unify his division, has fought every top contender in his division that is willing to fight him, is bringing in new fans and interest, is a respectful guy etc ... yet there is something about him you don't like ...

A lot of you were more emotionally invested in this fight than you let on cause it has been full b1tch mode this entire day.

HBO has done a fantastic job with GGG. They got half of the boxing world convinced he's a top ten p4p fighter without ever facing even one A list opponent

Where you complaining like this when HBO was doing the same thing with Berto when he was unbeaten?

Since when does HBO not know how to build stars one round at time.

A guy looks great enough times either for real or by manipulation then people believe. It is a boulder rolling down a mountain, there comes a time when you want to see that boulder hit a wall or a building that may stop it's momentum but until that time comes speculation on that collision is fun.

People love impressive performances though no matter the opponent, they will make someone a believer. They will make a different person perhaps ask some questions, but thoughtful questions are usually drowned out by mindless cheering.
