It's not punching power that is going bring GGG down, it's the multi-functional skills and high ring IQ of Ward.
I need to rewatch the GGG/Stevens fight, but in my recollection GGG did some quality boxing in that matchup, not letting himself eat too many clean punches, unlike tonight.

I think GGG learned that Monroe is light fisted and then got...******.

GGG is just an unstoppable force of nature. This is what boxing is about. Giving it your all and taking it all. No running, no head locking, no cowardice. Boxing was founded on blood and guts warriors and it will die on blood and guts warriors. If you want to hit and not get hit then you are in the wrong sport. That's what I say.

GGG better stay away from Ward. ward kills him. sorry ass alvared needs to stay away from GGG or get reminded of that sparring beating with head gear. cotto is a small jr middleweight. that being said. look forward mayweather vs cotto sept 12th and alvared continues to duck 3G, lara, and trout

any boxer can be knocked out dont forget that in a sense i agree defending who he fights. I think ward is the only one who can give him a real fight its going to be ggg domination until he tests himself at 168. i would like to think canelo can challenge him and i still think he can it would be a war

The heat is on. More and more people will be calling for Cotto or Canelo to fight GGG.

                  -- Fans love GGG
-- They want to see the best fight the best
-- Cotto holds the "lineal" title
-- Canelo already said he wants GGG...not now, but later
-- GGG is 33 or something

Do the math. Fans and media are going to up the temperature on calling out Cotto and Canelo.

That was a real good fight, I had that feeling watching it that a baseball fan would get watching a home-run, I have massive respect for monroe after that,i dont really belive GGG in what he said afterwards that he let him hit him and that,i think GGG was just been a bit neglectful of his defense and basic punches like his jab, either way who cares when you hit like a train, the last 2 weekends now have put on some good fights, canelo and GGG would be a HUUUGGGEEE fight, i dunno if oscar would let it happen doh,he thinks he can make it like may vs pac, I like GGG doh, wasnt too gone on him before tonight, and being honest i still thin canelo could do the business against him,GGG just needs to tighten up a bit and not get sloppy while waiting for these big fights, he KOs cotto easily in the early rounds!! but yea,i liked the interview he gave afterwards, somthing boxing needs, although i still think he was lien about purposely wanting to get hit.

Very impress with GGG performance and the resiliency of Monroe. Monroe showed strength and precision, just couldn't hang in there with a monster. GGG looked ecstatic after the fight. I believe the guy when he said he wanted to entertain the fans and gave all of us a longer fight! I also liked the fact he demanded everyone at his weight to face him to prove the best! That's a champ!
