GGG is very impressive so far and I love watching him and it is not because of the Knockouts or Power, he is a Boxer/Puncher, not a Brawler like HBO tries to paint him out to be. GGG has some versatility to him, his footwork is underrated and I think he will show that vs Willie Monroe Jr

I think GGG Fans WANT some type of hate and want jealous towards GGG especially the trolls on this forum who are on the GGG Bandwagon with other motives that I won't waste my time getting into.

If GGG Fans are painting him out to be unbeatable and someone challenge you and say "NO HE IS NOT" that is not "HATE" that is just an Opinion!

I've been boxing since I was stationed in England in 2002 and stay in pretty good shape. I like German beer, long walks on the beach and wear boxers, not briefs.

I make A LOT of comments in racial threads to 1: be funny 2: see who gets sand in their vaginas. This is where you and Joseph come in. Sand and vagina, both of which you and Joseph are in possession of. If I was so terrible, I think I would've been banned by now right? In the last few years lots of incredibly good fighters keep coming from Russia or near by. Not everybody likes that. Some people absolutely hate that and so they hate great Russian fighters.

I'm not sure how I feel about GGG. He's enjoyable to watch but I think seeing him do it against this caliber of opponent has grown stale on me. I think I wouldn't mind if he had already proved himself against the elite but he still hasn't so it's hard for me to get up for this recent string of bouts.

That said, I am looking forward to watching him tomorrow. If he fails to impress, you're gonna hear more people saying he's overrated. And if he blows out Monroe that'll only increase the desire for him to test himself against the elite. Maybe he gets the Cotto-Canelo winner but if he doesn't, he needs to test himself in a higher weight. It's hard to continually justify him taking easy paydays because he's waiting on Martinez, waiting on Cotto or whomever and on and on.

I'm in this camp.

As I have stated, I don't dislike GGG. I do, however, have problem with a fighter getting an unwarranted accolades and hype when he has done nothing in the ring to deserve it. If 90 percent of the opponents that Floyd Mayweather fought in his career were on the Henry Brussels level, I would have no respect for him.

You can count the number of B and A-level fighters that Ricky Hatton fought on one hand. I can say the same thing about Canelo Alvarez, Deontay Wilder and Leo Santa Cruz. Yet, these guys are getting an uprecedent amount of hype and accolades for beating up the Henry Brussels of the boxing world and knocking them out in spectacular fashion.


Ninety percent of the people that GGG has fought have been C & D level fighters and he is fighting another one this weekend. It doesn't matter if he KO's 95 percent of these guys in spectacular fashion. They are still C&D class fighters. His fans claim that other fighters in his division are scared to fight him. If that is the case, then GGG should move up in weight to find bigger challenges like other fighters have. If he does that, I will develop some respect for him.
