Out of simple fear that GGG would destroy Floyd, and that he gets a lot of praise since he's entertaining in the ring, thus overshadowing Floyd's safety first sparring sessions.

          ****** logic at it's best!
How is losing to a P4P top fighter being exposed? So only this's who are undefeated aren't exposed? I have wars beating GGG but that doesn't mean that GGG is exposed or a bum. Man U really are ******ed

Firstly, there's no set of rules of who you can or can't be a fan of in the sport of boxing. It's a sport with numerous styles, weight classes, and nationalities, there's something for everyone. So if you like one guy and not another guy, there should be NO problem with this.

But for some reason, it apparently becomes a problem when "Floyd fans" don't like someone like GGG. They claim it's unwarranted hate and don't seem to comprehend the reasoning behind (some) Floyd fans not liking him. They automatically assume it's a personal thing and not something directly related to boxing. I'll gladly tell you why I don't like him, but my opinion may differ from someone else's reasoning and that's totally fine.

I don't like Triple G very much for a few simple reasons. Firstly, he has an obsessively annoying fanbase. Yes, that makes it much harder to appreciate what he does in the ring. His obsessive fans are quick to overrate him and make him out to be something he is not. I see many flaws, and fans of his shouldn't be offended just because I point them out. The fact that he stays camped out in the worst division in boxing says a lot about his level of confidence. Not only does he hide out at 160, but he is actively calling out WELTERWEIGHTS! That's just pathetic! Why doesn't he move up in weight and CHALLENGE himself like many prior greats and CHAMPIONS have done before? Why does he keep calling out Ward only to duck his head in shame when Ward acknowledges his challenge?

Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that people need to stop relating everything to make it seem like it's attached to Floyd somehow. I mean think about it, one could EASILY ask, "Well, why is every Pacquiao fan so critical of guys like Rigo, Ward, Hopkins, Crawford and so on..?" But doing so wouldn't mean anything because everyone is different and it wouldn't prove anything because you can and WILL always find that one guy who is a fan of those guys.
Since when has it become pathetic for someone to try and unify a division, instead of constantly moving up, to call out fighters from the division they just left, so its not really moving up.

The honest reason is Floyd fanboys hate anyone that poses a threat to Floyd, and try and diminish them, and boost up non threatening opponents, like Cotto and Khan, instead of the real bad boys like GGG, and Lara who could actually beat him.

GGG doesn't really have a rampant fan base, It seems to be more wide spread appreciation from everyone except the Floyd fans to finally have a champion again that fights 4-5 times a year and cleans out their entire division, avoiding nobody.

The Floyd Fans like to say, GGG should just move up! Because they want another division between Floyd and GGG. What fighter are there for him at 168? This mythical division that everyone has left to go to 174. Froch has made it very clear he wants no part of GGG, Ward has been basically retired for the last longgg ass time. Who is there at 168 for him to fight?

He is a smallish middleweight. He has Quillin, Lee, Cotto, Korobov ( Who will bounce back, and I still want to see that fight ), the possibility of Canelo, Lara, and even Floyd...

Why would he move up? Come on Floyd Fans, its business first right? How is moving up good business for GGG? I guarantee you GGG could make 154 more comfortably than Canelo does.

If GGG resume is so weak, why is he #4 p4p on boxrec, which basically rates objectively based on your level of competition?

Over hyped fighters generally don't make it high up the p4p list...

Notice how Kell Brooke is rated higher than Amir Khan? Their rankings are generally a pretty good barometer of a fighters resume.

I don't have problem wit Golo, he's a sympathetic guy, I just happened to not like the "Russian style" of boxing. It's because I firstly a sucker for speed not for power, for me KO-s and TKO-s aren't certainly more exciting than UD-s, however I understand why so many people like them better. And the other thing, while their offense is technically really prolific, for my taste it's a little too measured, too mechanic, I like boxers who bring more individualism and creativeness in their boxing other than the perfectly learned and practiced moves from the boxing schools or amateur years.

btw, someone who is an expert from easter-euro boxing history can tell me that is there a difference between Russian and Ukranian style or the likes of Usyk, Loma, Klitschko or Postol just accidentally fight a different way than Kovalev, Kudryashov, Chakiev or Beterbiev?
If the former than I can say that I like the Ukranian school better, Klitschko and Postol are boring af though... but I like Usyk's and Loma's style better than any Rusian boxers'.
