IDK why people think laterally moving around the ring is how to beat GGG. The way GGG cuts off the ring and steps forward while throwing his right (switch step) plays perfectly into that game, he likes for guys to move because it keeps them at the end of his punch. You have to stay in front of him and smother his punches. The way Whittaker fought Chavez is how to beat GGG. You need strong legs and short punches.
When was the last time anyone fought GGG on the inside? For all we know he might not have an inside game, hes more of a rangy fighter that likes for you to be at the end of his power...Last edited by Boxfan83; 05-15-2015, 05:06 PM.Comment

wtf? How much of a hater and a **** can you be? He has crazy power so he must be on roids? GGG never even looks roided out. Do you have any shred of evidence he's on steroids?Comment

Yep, 6KO's. Another fighter who can't punch. Geale, Ishida, Murray, now Monroe. The guys who can punch are C fighters like Rubio and Stevens.
Slick southpaw, ooohh i'm gonna show the world I can beat any style. Yeah, very easy to do when you know your opponent can't hurt you at all.Comment

The bulges you can see above GGG's hips and tapering down to his groin are not the distended abdomen of a heavy roid user.
They are a part of the core muscle group known as Hercules' Girdle or the Adonis Belt, because you always see them on Ancient Greek statues of gods and heroes. And the Ancient Greeks didn't do steroids, that's for sure.
GGG does a lot of work building core muscle strength in the gym, and you can see the result in those photos. Monroe has a different kind of physique but he looks damned strong too, and big at the weight. I have a feeling he will take a lot of stopping, and that if he doesn't gas, this fight will go the distance.
I'm really looking forward to seeing it.Comment
