Rosado went 7 rounds by staying on the backfoot. Murray lasted 11 rounds staying in a shell moving in reverse. It's when people fight back Golovkin takes them out. Monroe fights like Lara in a hit & run fashion. If he's durable he could last the distance and steal a few rounds along the way. Adama was able to win a few, don't see why Willie couldn't.

      Only if he:
      1.Runs
2.Can take a punch because GGG WILL cut that ring off and corner him.

I doubt he goes passed 9 rounds.

I cant see it going the distance.

I know GGG said he wants a 12 round fight but i think they know right now their marketing angle and bread and butter is their KO streak.

I can see it going 12. Golovkin is a stalker but not a brawler. If you try to go to war, he will out gun you. However if you move and box, like Monroe has shown he can do, Golovkin fights more methodical and we've seen guys get deeper into fights this way. I can see Monroe going the distance, he's much better on his feet than Murray and he went 11

Monroe could possibly win a few found thought I doubt it. I'm tired of people pointing to the Rosado fight as GGG's weakness. He had the flu the day before the fight and still knocked him out. I'm not saying you are one but GGG has the most haters and I can't understand why. He's the most entertaining fighter there is and he has actual skill outside of his power. And whoever was saying GGG wants a distance I think he means he wants someone to push him that far, he's not going to let up to let someone. You see how he came out against Geale?

That's what I am thinking as well, very possible that Monroe survives and loses a decision, and then people will be saying that Golovkin got exposed blah blah blah. If nothing else at least this will show how Golovkin handles excessive movement because you know that Monroe is aiming to survive Lara style.

He's better on his feet but I doubt he can take even half the punishment Murray did.

When Gamboa was accused of using roids they used his stomach as a sign. How come no one says anything about Golovkin's?
