sorry boxing isn't about respect. it's about big paydays. remember? you just said that like 5 minutes ago!
when talking about cotto and canelo ducking ggg oh its only about the money and that's why they can't fight him...yet when talking about ggg do it for the respect! why do you have such double standards? here's an easy standard that you should try: the best in the division fight the best no matter if they are popular or not. how crazy! then you won't have to mentally twist yourself in a pretzel defending guys that don't follow this standard.Last edited by daggum; 05-16-2015, 12:18 AM.

Tips:
-if you get hit throw a "na-nah" gesture by swinging your chin left and right, this might fool the judges and nullify that score against you.
-if they block your exits - HUG! before that first punch lands.
-always fight with an arm and half length away from your scary opponent.
-POTSHOT! Even if they don't hurt a fly, POTSHOT! Judges love that shiet.
-Always fight on the backfoot. Initiating combat is for fools.
-Get all the advantages before you even step in the ring.

GGG is not a big draw and that is why he is practically begging Cotto, Alvarez or Mayweather to fight him. You are right! Fighter do claim that another fighter is not a big draw to avoid fighting them. The ones who do that are usually guys like Peter Quillin, who can't draw flies himself..if you were to say somehing like "Quillin has managed to duck every single notable MW the last few yrs" thatll get you deep in the red Ks quick. Just friendly advice

What separates imitation from the real thing is actual ring IQ and the reflexes. Golovkin doesn't have the reflexes of Floyd, and he hits hard and doesn't have hand injuries so there is no need to fight like Mayweather. He is also not even in a good weight class or a size disadvantage. If GGG were to go up 24lbs like Floyd did or even to LHW, he would be singing a different tune vs a guy like Kovalev at LHW or Drozd at CW. Then we'll see the 5'10" and a half GGG who would be at a 15+ pound disadvantage on fight night fighting Mexican style or if he will fight smart against much bigger guys who can take his punches and KO him if they catch him.
Mayweather vs Maidana for instance, Mayweather was 148lbs and Maidana was 165lbs, for a 17lb disadvantage. If GGG fought someone that big who was also a good puncher and swarmer, with a high pain threshold, he would get on his bike and wouldn't be any where near as stationary as Floyd was, ****ing it away with Maidana. GGG gets hit so much that he would get KO'ed if he actually fought a puncher who was 17lbs bigger than him.
This is all coward talk. Move up in weight to taste size disadvantage and fight more powerful guys who can take your punch. The tough talk with Ishida, Rosado, Stevens, Geale, Monroe on your resume is weak. Let me see you and your ****** Mexcian style vs Kovalev or at Cruiserweight.

Are you his interpreter?
Floyd is not as skilled at coming forward and fighting in Golovkin like fashion. He has come forward before (i.e. Vs Judah, Vs Sharmba Mitchell and a couple others) but he is not as skilled at it as Golovkin.
