I would say in general if everyone fought the exact same way it would be pretty boring, one of the best aspects about boxing is the different ways a guy can be successful depending on what is best for them.

Scared fighting is not that hard to do, it's the safest. You just got to have decent speed and train everyday how to do it. Throw in some flare while doing it. Secret to success. Ask Floyd.

Tips:
-if you get hit throw a "na-nah" gesture by swinging your chin left and right, this might fool the judges and nullify that score against you.
-if they block your exits - HUG! before that first punch lands.
-always fight with an arm and half length away from your scary opponent.
-POTSHOT! Even if they don't hurt a fly, POTSHOT! Judges love that shiet.
-Always fight on the backfoot. Initiating combat is for fools.
-Get all the advantages before you even step in the ring.

golovkin sit your ****** ass down somewhere you remain in ONE weight class and you're 33 YEARS old and STILL fighting fringe contenders. if you could "box" like mayweather which anyone who understands movement in boxing knows damn well you get hit too damn much and can barely slip punches when you try to shoot your skraight right you damn near always get touched like martin murray did but he doesnt have any power. he has remained at MIDDLEWEIGHT for his ENTIRE career not daring to move up but willing to fight 147ers. those of us who KNOW the sport KNOW you're just about an average fighter who knows how to cut off the ring and throw bombs but you are SLOW and plodding with your movement you dont "box" well off the backfoot you have c- defense but with b+ power but you havent fought WORLD CHAMPIONS so we dont know how your power "Really" stacks up. so no you're not in mayweather or none of the ELITE fighters league
as much as i rag on pacquiao pacquiao is by far a better fighter than you and if yall were in the same weight class i think pacquiao would stop ggg.ggg gets hit too much and is JUST NOW facing a southpaw on a contender level as a professional. sit your goofy lookin' mad tv lookin' ass down somewhere and PAY YOUR DUES

Guys you know what Golovkin said probably comes out differently than what he meant, he's likely saying he can box I don't think he means he can exactly fight like Mayweather but he can show a style more similar to that but prefers to bring the drama shows as he'd say.

regardless thats how mayweather fights its the best chance he has to win ggg dont have to do that so i dont see his point honestly its like tyson saying i could box but i like to bring the big drama show lol
