I've always thought you could beat Canelo because of your stamina, and punching power.

Fight Ward, and let's see what you can do with someone who's calling out the so called "boogeyman".
andre ward the guy who won an olympic gold medal at 178 lbs, said hes a 175 & will finish his career as a heavyweight

bravely calls out one of the smallest middleweights (Golovkin cuts around 5 lbs) whilst forbidden to sign any fights by court order (tried multiple times to screw over his dying promoter, lost every time)

do you honestly take that "callout" seriously? it was never going to happen, it was a way to sell t shirts at best

    • Stick to ur style GGG, getn tired of seeing all these generic philly shells. I look at GGGs style and if he tried to imitate floyds style i think he would gas hard, bcuz thats a very tiring style to keep up for even 2-3 rds.

Whats with the tone? Ppl are actually offended when a Floyd-GGG match up is mwntioned. I dont knw why, GGG is tailor made for Floyd. Hes a come forward boxer who would eat counters all night. What i like about GGG is his range control and thatwide stance of his, makes him seem bigger in the ring. Its been mentioned before but i see it playing out likethe canelo fight, Floyd wouldforce him into range and counter. Thats the thing is ALL of Floyds opponents always think hes in range, they shoot and get countered. Next thing GGG will be following Floyd all night. Same ol story.
GGG hasnt faced enough top level opponents to think otherwise.

Funny how three words are now synonymous with Gennady "GGG" Golovkin.

If a fighter would have used these words two years ago, many would scratch their heads wondering what those three words put together mean.

When Golovkin strings those words together in a sentence, it usually means a good thing. It could mean a pulverizing left hook to the body, dropping Matthew Macklin like a sack of potatoes a couple of years ago. Or it could be Golovkin landing an off-balanced right cross to the chin of Daniel Geale last July, dropping him to the canvas and ultimately getting the knockout win.

Whatever it is, Golovkin has become more than some cult hero to the boxing world. He has become a legitimate fighter at the elite level, where fights against the likes of Miguel Cotto or Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez await later this year or in 2016.

That is if these respected and talented fighters are willing to fight Golovkin. And that catch phrase.

Willie Monroe, Jr. may seem like he is in over his head on Saturday night. While he does have an extensive amateur background, he is facing a significant step up in competition against Golovkin. Could something spectacular happen on another big stage courtesy of Golovkin at the expense of Monroe?

If there is anything Golovkin fights have taught boxing fans, it is to expect the unexpected.

Golovkin (32-0, 29 KOs) awaits the challenge of Monroe this Saturday night at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. The 12 round middleweight bout, along with the Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez-Edgar Sosa bout, will be televised live on HBO, beginning at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT. [Click Here To Read More]
Why in the world does GGG want to fight a guy so much smaller. Be a real man GGG and fight Andre Ward. Stop fighting Level 2 fighters and knocking them out. Test your skills and stop running from Andre Ward.

Did you ask Andre Ward to do the same and go up and fight stevenson (who called him many times) or Kovalev??? you have double standards and little brain , also AW said to FLoyd that they can meet at 160 , what did you think about that ?
AW said he needs tune up fights before he goes on to fight a live body, he said 3 at least , so no one is running from now one.
regarding GGG calling out Floyd , get it into your thick skull , Floyd is where the rainbow ends he is the jackpot of boxing , if you get to fight him you are set for life (if its a big fight) if you win by some way you are the new MEGA star of boxing , who in his right mind wouldnt want to fight him ? are you blind to see that everyone is chasing him for a dance?

Ward, They passed on Ward's offer. Ward has said on numerous occasions he wants GGG and GGG has never accepted. So, you can look no further than ward.
