To be fair, ive never watched Monroe fight so i cant opine or begin to guage Golovkins abilities after this weekend. From my understanding, Monroe is being classified as a "boxer", depending on how well he moves will give us a good idea how GGG handles "movers". Hopefully Monroe gives us a good showing.

Everyone wants to get paid. I like GGG but he needs to lay off this Mayweather thing. He is making himself look cheap. GGG has the good to destroy any legit 154 to 168 fighter.

Here is my suggestion GGG. Create a marketing plan for yourself like Mayweather did. Walk through everyone but avoid Ward like you are afraid of him. When the timing looks right, make the fight. May the best man win. Might not get you Mayweather money, but you will make something.

Lmao these people so desperate they jump bandwagons with no shame.. they said he was scared of mosley, afterward mosley was old.. he was scared of Canelo, then canelo was too young. ..scared of Pacquiao, but the shoulder doe.. smh.. now hes scared of golovkin... if he beats him, they'll say ggg was drained. .after that they'll want Floyd to face Ward

just admit the guy is the best and leave it alone

You really think GGG got a chance with Ward? This fight will loom for the next 5 years to only see Ward dismantle this guy the same way Floyd did Canelo. If GGG thought he had a chance of beating Ward, the fight would have already been made. I like GGG, but he cleaned out his division 2 years ago. Time to move on. Fighting a smaller Mayweather is not the way into the history books.
