The longer Froch stays out of the ring, the worse beating he's going to take if he fights a bigger, stronger fighter. Like Marvin Hagler once said, "it's hard to do 5AM roadwork when you're sleeping in silk pajamas". If Froch really made 9 million pounds against Groves (which as fought before 80,000 in Wembley as Froch is fond of reminding us) then his only motivation now is money, not belts. Why risk a beat down by GGG, or another schooling by Ward? A Dirrell rematch sounds good...he isn't going to get hurt in that one.
