Maybe he gets back with Wolfe and resurrects himself.

The win was spectacular, but Kirkland did what HBO expected him to do when the OK'd this match.
HBo wanted an exciting match. someone that came to fight. Kirkland is dangerous and has the punchers chance at any given moment. Hbo eill also match up GGG and canelo one day . Then when canelo wins the excuses will sprout.. triple g didnt fight anyone doe , triple g was untested doe bla bla bla

          It was expected.
The bigger star you are the more haters you have.
Canelo could beat GGG right now, and people would say he cherry picked an unproven opponent. He could KO Cotto and people will say he was too old.

He could fight the Charlo brothers and they would say they were too green.
He could fight Andrade and they would say the same exact thing.

Doesn't matter what he does. There is an agenda out to get him.

Jesus man,we are saying that now,he is untested and he has not fought anyone. Damn Canelo had the chance of a life time and looked ****** against Floyd. Let his career play out and stop asking for empty praise

You do realize non-title fights are usually fought at +2-3 lbs. from the normal weight class, right? I mean, Broner-Porter is an example of this, except they are trying to dehydrate Porter. A 155 lb. weight limit doesn't hurt any 154 lb. fighter, in fact it makes it easier for them to make weight.

However, I am not in favor of catchweights for the purpose of draining fighters in order to gain in advantage. Mayweather-Canelo is an instance of this, given that Mayweather was a champion at 154 leading up to the Canelo fight, and had not required Cotto or De La Hoya drain themselves below 154. Yet, he forced Canelo down to 152 for the purpose of gaining an advantage. This worked and Canelo was visibly weak during the weigh in and looked very small during the actual fight.
