Why doesn't Floyd bet on himself?

He loves to gamble, especially on sports. So I wonder why he doesn't place large bets on himself when he fights.

Is he allowed to? Most sports don't allow players to bet on match-ups they're involved in. I'm guessing that would be the same for boxing.
