4.4 million ppvs to add to the 2 million from Canelo. 6.5 million ppvs in two fights for Shotime. Two Emmy awards for All Access. I'd say Hbo and Shotime are both going to be OK.

      Canelo last 4 on Shotime
      Trout
      Angelo
      Weather
      Lara

      last 4 on hbo
      Kirkland
      Cintron
      Ryan Rhodes
      Alfonso Gomez

Canelo will be back on HBO/HBO PPV in a few months.

He has no "next 4 on Showtime".

But you make a good point...Canelo was limiting himself by fighting on SHO.

He'll get many more viewers fighting consistently on HBO...and this was just the first of likely many.

They scrapped the Tyson-Lewis deal, at HBO's insistence during the negotiations, with both networks being allowed to show the replay.

Showtime re-aired the fight as the lead-in to the Inside: Mayweather vs Pacquiao - Epilogue (Showtime had no fight card to air for the night); HBO re-aired the fight as the lead-in to their Alvarez-Kirkland card, which was originally supposed to be a doubleheader (turned into the airing of only Alvarez-Kirkland, after Gomez missed weight by almost 8 pounds)
