As for the main subject I think it could be done and will probably have something for him somewhere in the MGM one day, who knows
Should the MGM Grand erect a statue of Floyd Mayweather after his retirement?

People claiming that he's too boring are ****** as hell. How is he able to consistently outsell Pacquiao and other so-called "exciting" fighters in PPV then? He's involved in the top 3 highest grossing PPV fights of all time for goodness sake.Comment

It's all marketing.Comment

**** no they should'nt, the only reason the MGM, Vegas, and all others that put up with him claim to like him is because he makes them money. After he retires he'll no longer be of any use to anyone and there will no longer be a need to pretend to like him. Statues are reserved for peoples champions and true warriors that the people rooted for not against.Comment

He deserves one, but any statue thoughts would be say 5 to 10 years prob more after hes retired, I think, plus any of the negative press would have simmered down by then hopefully and he'll be remembered as a great champion he should be remembered as.
Would prefer a section of the mgm to have boxing memorabilia, statues and the history of boxing events held there, I think that's the better option.Comment

They should erect a statue of him infront of the county jail where he keeps going in and out of or in front of the battered woman's shelter in Las Vegas for bringing awareness to domestic abuse.Comment
