Should the MGM Grand erect a statue of Floyd Mayweather after his retirement?

Look, there's no question at this point who the greatest fighter of this generation is. Floyd's legacy has never been based upon one fight, but if you didn't respect his accomplishments prior to May 2, 2015 you now have NO choice.

48-0 (49, possibly 50-0 at the time of retirement), 12-time world champion in 5 divisions, 4 division lineal champion, and numerous amount of other feats.

It should also be noted that the MGM Grand and Boxing are synonymous with each other. The MGM Grand Garden Arena is THE place for boxing, period. Floyd and MGM have a great relationship and the city of Las Vegas would have no problem with it considering the millions of dollars in revenue he's brought to the city.

Admittedly, I have never been to the MGM Grand Garden Arena before. I'm not really familiar with the layout so I don't know if it would be better suited for the interior or exterior like the Staples Center has it. Is there adequate room outside near the entrance for a statue?

    1. For those who have been, where would you put the statue?

    2. What picture or moment would you use for the statue mold?

    3. What special amenities would you add if any?

As for me, I'd love to use the moment when Floyd jumped up on the turnbuckle after the Pacquiao fight and was mouthing "STRAP ME UP!" as I believe that was an iconic moment. They typically use bland or murky colors for statues so in order to ****e things up a little bit I'd like either his shoes or trunks to be made of pure gold. His mouthguard would be visible and so detailed that you could see the TMT logo. Appreciation of detail is a must. And my statue would be outside near the entrance so everyone can take pictures with it.

PS - Don't troll or you will be put on ignore.

This would be my second option. The gloves would be made of pure gold.

There's no doubt that Kobe will get a statue in front of Staples Center in a few years and he fought a **** case.

Oscar battles with cross dressing and coke and he got one too. I'm sure Kareem, Magic, Jerry West, Chick Hearn, Gretzky have done wrong.

The fact remains, Floyd has brought millions of dollars to the state of Nevada. Money talks.

I don't care about #48ers LOL. They can give Manny a statue in the Philippines if they want to.

**** no they should'nt, the only reason the MGM, Vegas, and all others that put up with him claim to like him is because he makes them money. After he retires he'll no longer be of any use to anyone and there will no longer be a need to pretend to like him. Statues are reserved for peoples champions and true warriors that the people rooted for not against.

                    You couldn't be more wrong.

When Floyd retires, the shift focuses over to Mayweather Promotions full time. Right now, his stable is very mediocre, but you best believe that once Schaefer is free he'll take over the CEO spot and make things happen. Then Al Haymon's stable will have a genuine promoter to promote shows with. Where do you think they're going to put boxing shows on? MGM GRAND. He will make them money regardless. Think outside of the box.
