EXACTLY. If you accept a Catchweight fight then that is your own fault. No one is putting a gun to these fighters head and making them sign the contract. Same thing with injuries, if you go into a fight knowing you're severely injured then you have no right to use it as a excuse. Bottom line don't sign a contract if you feel you are at a disadvantage.Comment

Dangerous fight for the Can-man. I don't think Broner should be fighting above 140 whatsoever. Catchweight will make it more of a contest though.Comment

I've generally always been in favour of catchweights if it can get a great fight done (as opposed to Mayweather fans, whose stance on catchweights oddly softened when the Canelo fight was made - they were losing their minds when Pacquaio was doing them - remember "Catchweight King" - anyway, I digress) - this IS a great fight, but as everyone has said, Porter is a big WW as it is. It is definitely going to deplete him - then add in the hydration clause too - not ideal. Hopefully it doesn't kill Shaun.
Love the fight, though.Comment

Damn Haymon must hate Broner or something... Terrible style match up for the Can Man... Porter is basically a technically sound version of Maidana, he's gonna get on him from round 1. Only way Broner wins is if Porter comes in weight drained.....................
Uhh... nevermind...Comment
