EXACTLY. If you accept a Catchweight fight then that is your own fault. No one is putting a gun to these fighters head and making them sign the contract. Same thing with injuries, if you go into a fight knowing you're severely injured then you have no right to use it as a excuse. Bottom line don't sign a contract if you feel you are at a disadvantage.

Dangerous fight for the Can-man. I don't think Broner should be fighting above 140 whatsoever. Catchweight will make it more of a contest though.

I've generally always been in favour of catchweights if it can get a great fight done (as opposed to Mayweather fans, whose stance on catchweights oddly softened when the Canelo fight was made - they were losing their minds when Pacquaio was doing them - remember "Catchweight King" - anyway, I digress) - this IS a great fight, but as everyone has said, Porter is a big WW as it is. It is definitely going to deplete him - then add in the hydration clause too - not ideal. Hopefully it doesn't kill Shaun.

            Love the fight, though.

Yea because I'm sure you didn't watch a catchweight fight involving a fighter who only fought once in 3years on Hbo last Saturday....

How does this prove he never wanted it with khan? If anything this shows he would fight khan lol. He wanted him at 144
